We're Superheros

For anyone who missed it, this is the first social media post we posted:

We need all the prayers possible.

Our sweet little full-of-joy, 20 month old, Reece, has just been diagnosed with AML Leukemia.

The chemotherapy is intent for this type of leukemia so we will be in the hospital for the majority of the next six months. Today is day day 7 in the hospital and day 1 of chemo. I can't begin to express our shock, sadness, anger, fear, grief, and the list of emotions could go on and on. We don't understand why this happened to our happy, healthy, joyful little man, but all we can do now it rely on God and His plan for all of us.

I don't really post too much on social media, but I'm sharing this with all of you to please ask for all of your prayers, good thoughts, gives, everything.

Thank you to everyone who has already expressed their grief and shared our story, words can't describe how much it means to us.

As Rodney has been telling Reece, "we're superheros and we're looking for this bad guy name Leukemia, and when we find it, we're going to kick its butt." #reecethesuperhero
