Run For A Reason

Hi guys! If you knew me before, then you know that I love running. Randomly, one day at the hospital I saw a poster in the family room advertising that the Ronald McDonald House has a team for the Houston Marathon. A light bulb went off in my head (finally :) and it hit me that going forward, every race that I do I want it to be for a cause, specially one that has impacted my life so much. SO, I decided to join the team!

I decided to join the Ronald McDonald House team specifically because of everything they do for families like us in the hospital and I want to help keep them up and running. Families travel across the country to get the best doctors and treatments to give their child a chance a life. The Ronald McDonald House is truly a lifesaver for these families, providing comforting support and housing for little to no cost. Not only do they provide housing, many of their volunteers have come to Reece's room giving him toys and crafts to help entertain him and ease the pain of having to live in a hospital.
